Cancellation Policy

Bookings are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received. The deposit is non-refundable unless the venue cancels the booking. The remaining balance must be paid by the date stated by the venue and, in all cases, before the event starts unless otherwise agreed in writing. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of the booking and loss of any deposit paid. The hirer must be over 18 and will be the named person responsible for the booking, all guests, and any third-party suppliers attending the event. The hirer is responsible for ensuring the event is conducted in a safe and lawful manner and that the premises are used only for the agreed purpose. The venue reserves the right to refuse entry, end the event, or require guests to leave where there is disorderly behaviour, excessive noise, safety concerns, breach of these terms, or any activity the venue considers unsuitable. In such cases, no refund will be due. The hire period must include all set up, decorating, delivery, collection, and pack down time. The hall must be vacated by the agreed finish time. Additional charges may apply if the event overruns, access is needed outside the agreed booking time, or extra cleaning, staffing, or security is required. The hirer must leave the hall, toilets, and any used areas in a clean and tidy condition. The hirer will be liable for any loss, damage, breakage, missing items, spillages, staining, or excessive cleaning caused by the hirer, guests, or suppliers. The venue reserves the right to charge for repairs, replacements, cleaning, waste removal, and any related losses. Children must be supervised at all times by suitable responsible adults. No illegal activity, illegal substances, smoking, or vaping is permitted inside the premises. No outside alcohol is permitted where a staffed bar is operating. Any decorations, entertainers, caterers, equipment, inflatables, or other suppliers must be approved in advance by the venue. Nothing may be fixed to walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, or fittings in a way that may cause damage. All cancellations and changes must be made in writing. Cancellation charges may apply, including loss of deposit and, where cancellation is made close to the event date, payment of part or all of the remaining balance. The venue accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property, equipment, vehicles, or belongings brought onto the premises, except where required by law.
